Bacolod Academy for Culinary Arts – November 2017

The Bacolod Academy for Culinary Arts is offering a Professional Cooking course which can be completed within a short period of only 12 months: 9 months of which will be spent in the Academy to equip you with the knowledge that you need, and 3 months in a restaurant or hotel to enhance your skills.

The said course has the following modules:

  • Food Safety and Sanitation
  • Basic Culinary Skills
  • Food Science
  • Garde Manger
  • Wellness Cooking
  • Eastern Cuisines
  • Western Cuisines
  • Baking and Pastry.

You will be surely ready to practice once finished with the course!


You will then be required to render 480 hours of internship, giving you enough time to apply what you learn and develop the necessary skills. Returning from your internship, a written and a practical exam will be given so you can get your Academy Certificate (once you’ve passed), and a TESDA assessment so you can have your National Certificate 2 in Cookery. What an exciting journey!

The Bacolod Academy for Culinary Arts is located at Mayfair Place, 12th Street Lacson, Bacolod City. The tuition fee for the said course is P22,500 per month for 9 months and you can be reserved a slot for a deposit of Php 22,500.00, but be prompt as the course is strictly limited to only 10 students.

Course will start on November 13, 2017 (Monday). The requirements for admission are:

  • Form 137 (for high school graduates)
  • Transcript of Records (for college graduates)
  • NSO birth certificate
  • Chest X-ray result
  • 2 pcs 2×2 ID pictures
  • 4 pcs Passport size ID pictures
